BUTANOL LEATHER CLEANERS

Generally you’re going to find that Butanol is stronger than your regular, everyday bottle of Leather Cleaners. 

Butanol poppers will act fast, similarly to Pentyl or Propyl Leather Cleaner, but you’ll find that they stick around longer in a way that is reminiscent of Amyl Leather Cleaner. The best of both worlds, if you like.

No. Despite their similar names, Butanol Leather Cleaners are not the same as Butyl Leather Cleaners. Butyl Nitrite Leather Cleaners are increasingly rare and cannot be purchased in a number of countries. For that reason we do not stock Butyl Leather Cleaners.

Butanol Leather Cleaners are for those well accustomed to Leather Cleaners. We recommend Propyl Leather Cleaners for anyone just dipping their toes in.

Leather Cleaners do expire. How long they last, is partly up to how you store them.

Generally, if stored correctly, you can expect your Leather Cleaners to last around 3 months.
